The DHC 2000 (formerly HENROB 2000™) has a unique mixing chamber inside the torch which creates a narrow concentrated heat & virtually oxygen free environment around the weld area. (see Home Page for moving diagrams) This enables the welding of normally difficult materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Chrome Moly, Cast Iron, Mild Steel etc., without the need for an inert gas shield or 3 phase power, such as is required for TIG & MIG Welding Equipment |

| The low velocity flame with very little oxygen content protects the weld puddle in a similar way as TIG & MIG Welding Equipment, and therefore requires no flux on the majority of materials.

UndercutsIt is particular interest to note that DHC 2000 (formerly HENROB 2000™) produces no undercut along the weld seam as in the TIG/MIG process and therefore repair of a motor block, injection moulding etc, does not require machining on the plane side. This machining can be far more expensive that the actual welding. Cutting and BrazingUnlike MIG & TIG Welding Equipment the torch brazes & cuts.
All plate and sheet metal can be brazed without flux. Galvanised sheet metal can be cut and brazed without flux and without destroying the protective coating (essential in auto body repair work for applications where it is not possible to remove the flux residue), because of the non- oxidising flame even ordinary domestic copper wire can used as filler for brazing. |

There are two cutting attachments, one for sheet metal and one for plate The torch produces a very narrow non-oxidised slag free clean cut up to 25MM and no machining is required before welding it. It is very fast and energy efficient giving huge gas savings compared to a conventional oxy cutter uses approximately half the gas.
